Here is a brief look at GHQ's 1:1200 model of HMS Bellona, 1760, the namesake of her class and the prototype for so many of the British 74 gun ships of the later 18th century. Beautiful proportions, and lots of nice crisp detail as you would expect form GHQ.
As usual I've rebuilt the bowsprit with brass rods, and used Langton ratlines and resin sea base. I've done the rigging using nylon paintbrush bristles.
